History

API is a full-service plumbing firm serving both residential and commercial customers. Founded in 1991 by A. Thomas Smith, a Master Plumber, our business is based in Seminole County and serves customers across Central Florida communities. You can count on us for all of your plumbing installation, replacement, and repair needs. We train all of our plumbers and technicians to meet the highest standards of quality craftsmanship.

Sadly, A. Thomas passed away on April 29, 2023. His son, Ari Warnicke-Smith, who has been highly involved in many areas of the business since 2003, took over as President of API. Ari runs the business with his wife Meredith Warnicke-Smith and Steve Medland, long-time best friend and business partner of A. Thomas. Ari, Meredith, Steve, and the rest of the API staff are honoring API’s founding father by continuing his legacy, which is stronger than ever. We all know A. Thomas is very proud of us!
